Baby, it's cold outside....

The wind chill was a whole 1 degree this morning! And we're not even in MO anymore....we're back home in MS......for good now....except a one day trip to see family this weekend. So, no more traveling for a few months at least!
Well, our trip to Big Cedar was......cold....wonderful.....fun.....cold....spiritually encouraging and challenging....cold....relaxing....and cold. Here's what we saw going to bed the first night.....

and here's what we woke up to the first morning......

{it was still snowing, that's why it's hazy in this pic}

It snowed the whole first day we were there and it lasted the whole trip long. That never happens for me, so I was excited to say the least....especially after living five years in Florida.
We spent most of the first day at the lodge since we couldn't really go anywhere. We had TWO HOURS of quiet time, relaxed, talked, watched movies, watched a Louie Giglio video and played cards.

Speaking of Louie, you're seriously missing out if you haven't heard him speak or seen his videos. His Passion videos are AMAZING. God really uses him to speak to our hearts as believers and nonbelievers. Check out Passion's blog here. (I also just added it to my links)

Here's the little group we took...that just happened to be all couples....

{Sledding pics are in the next post}
After my last time down the hill laughing and screaming on Matt's back (because my hat had fallen down over my eyes and I couldn't see hardly anything!), Jonathan says "Crystal, I can tell this is the most fun you've had in a long time." I just looked at him, laughed and said "is that good or bad?" The sad thing is, it was the truth. Or at least, I have not laughed that hard in a while. I don't guess I really get out much anymore. :) Anyway, sledding was lots of fun and was only a tease for me as I WANT TO GO SKIING AGAIN SOON!!!! But, it did give me a little fix for now.

Don't worry, she was only outside for a few moments....

Here's some pics Matt took while he was out walking.

Beautiful pic sweetie!

Cold horseees....
