31 Days of Quotes, Day 18...

“No enthusiasm will ever stand the strain that Jesus Christ will put upon His worker, only one thing will, and that is a personal relationship to Himself which has gone through the mill of His spring-cleaning until there is only one purpose left--I am here for God to send me where He will.”
― Oswald Chambers

Whew!  What a long day of working around here, but we are making progress!  I'm exhausted and we are leaving tomorrow morning for a vacation....which we SO need.

We had some volunteers come do some painting on the containers, which I didn't get pics of yet, and we moved the old cheapo cabinets out of our own laundry room, and brought the new ones in to place.  The top cabinets weren't in yet, obviously!

There's furniture in random places here, but you still get the idea.  There will be a long L-shaped counter.  will be glad to get it all in place....because everything that was in here before is now sitting in the living room.  That was a brilliant plan.  Hope we can put it all back...as SOON as we return....or else, that would be bad, real bad.

So....why the random quote?  First, I think it's really encouraging, the more I think about it.  Plus, it's the main reason we are going on vacation.....to get away and do some spiritual spring cleaning of our hearts and souls.  I hope to come back refocused and refreshed with a wholehearted desire for God to "send us where He will" and do with us what He desires.  My main prayer I hope to be able to meditate on as we can step out from under our common every day is - "Give us new, clear perspectives of the wisdom we need for the callings we are in."

Feel free to drop a few prayers for us this week!
